First order of business was to tour Windsor Castle. No, we weren't tire of looking at castles yet! It was a sunny and quiet day in Windsor and a lovely way to spend our last day in England after a mad-capped adventure. OK, so maybe we were looking for William...but we digress.
We arrived just in time to see the changing of the guards. It was longer than we had thought, but was interesting and enteraining none the less.
Those fellas can sure march and stamp their feet like nobody's business! The band was playing some progressive music for such a traditional ceremony.
The tour of the castle took a few hours. They had shops strategically placed throughout the grounds. We had to intersperce some shopping with the educational aspect of the tour. After all, each shop contained very different merchandise. Did you know you can buy Royal Doggie Treats at Windsor Castle?
