Day 15 - Tower of London
Our train tickets were still good, so we decided to take the train from Windsor back to London for one more day of sightseeing. We were very grateful for the helpful reminders from the City of London on which way to look when crossing the street. If only Deb could remember which direction was left and right...
A ride to the Tower Hill tube stop dropped us right across the street from the Tower of London. We had toured this on our last trip here, so we just walked around the plaza, toured the gift shop and walked along the river for bit.
There were school kids visiting the Tower, so we got to see catapult demonstrations and watch them try their hand at shooting arrows from the safety of the plaza, across a moat and two large fences. I know some of you are wondering if we were safe from the catapult or the children...it was both!
