We will spare you the 200 pictures we took of Tower Bridge. No really, we had that many. We like it. A lot. There was a Tower Bridge Experience that would take you to the cat walk, but we were already tired by this point and way too cold. (There were also about 50 children on a field trip. Enough said. Alhambra anyone?)
Two important monuments within the same block: the Tower of London and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Note to any would be travelers, Kentucky Fried Chicken does not taste the same...well, at least the one in Wales didn't. (No mashed potatoes, to Karen's dismay, and no corn on the cob for Deb.) We passed up this one. Went for "traditional" British food, Fish n Chips and a deep fried Mars bar in Picadilly Circus. (Fish was fine, fried Mars bar not recommended.)
We really were here! These pictures are the proof. As you can see, we were not big on asking other people to take our picture. We had done that enough for other people.
